With the participation of the Gaziantep Chamber of Industry (GSO) delegation and member companies of the Gaziantep Food Cluster, the ANUGA Sectoral Trade Delegation Program was carried out in Germany between 7–11 October 2023.

Within the scope of the program, the delegation attended the ANUGA Food Fair held in Cologne, one of the world’s largest and most established food fairs, and had the opportunity to observe the latest developments in the sector.

During the fair, participating companies held bilateral meetings with a wide range of international stakeholders, including manufacturers, importers, distributors, and suppliers, focusing on product sourcing, import opportunities, and alternative supply channels. In this context, companies established contacts with suppliers from various countries and took important steps towards diversifying their product portfolios.

Following the fair visit, the GSO delegation and company representatives visited the Cologne Chamber of Industry and Commerce, where they met with chamber officials and business representatives. During the meetings, potential areas of cooperation and opportunities to enhance supply processes were discussed.

As part of the program, the delegation also paid a visit to the Consulate General of the Republic of Türkiye in Cologne, where discussions were held on improving international sourcing processes.

The delegation further participated in a special event organized by the Turkish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where meetings focused on expanding international supply networks and establishing new import connections.

This activity strengthened the integration of Gaziantep Food Cluster members into global supply chains, contributed to the diversification of import processes, and generated tangible outcomes that enhance the competitiveness of the participating companies.
